    The vision at John Morony Correctional Centre located at Berkshire Park (near Windsor) is to be a world-class rehabilitation and reintegration facility that sets new benchmarks in Australian and International remand centre management.

    The Centre is fully integrated with the NSW justice, correctional and health systems and will create a step change in corrections management. Its achievements will contribute to the State’s overall objectives of reducing reoffending, enhancing community safety and keeping people healthy.     About the Role:

    Corrective Services NSW Psychology Services is responsible for conducting assessments and providing interventions that address the risks, needs and responsivity issues to reduce the risk of re-offending by adult offenders in correctional centres and under community supervision.

    Psychologists work as part of a team under the supervision and management of a Senior Psychologist and Regional Chief Psychologist. Psychology Services work as part of a broader multidisciplinary team. Corrective Services provides training for specialised assessments in sexual and violent offenders.

    We are seeking enthusiastic and highly motivated individuals to join our team as a Psychologist.

    Responsibilities will include:

  • Work as part of a team of psychologists under the supervision of a senior psychologist in the provision of direct individual and group based psychological services to adult offenders in custody.
  • Provide expert and timely advice, psychological assessments, case formulation, interventions and reports on matters relating to psychology services.
  • Develop relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
