Job Description

Are you an experienced Sales Account Manager looking to join a global ASX listed organisation and take the next step in your career?

As a valued part of the Sales and Customer Solutions team, your role will be to manage, own and develop the relationship between CHEP and its Customers to retain and grow market share within your territory which will include the Riverina, Orana, Central Tablelands and ACT regions. This role will either be home based or out of either our Griffith or Bathurst service centres, and reports directly to the Regional Manager, Eastern. This role will require extensive travel around regional NSW.

The key responsibilities of this role include:

  • Create and foster relationships with key customers which will include growers, farmers and other industrial partners
  • Form multi-functional management relationships with customer organisations
  • Deliver superior customer service
  • Focus on retention and growth within the account portfolio through regular customer visits and commercial negotiations
  • Manage in-depth and complex customer issues including equipment excess and asset control to minimise customer equipment losses
  • Manage call cycles to maximise the effectiveness of visits to each region
  • The ideal candidate will possess the following skills, experience and qualifications:

  • Solid sales, relationship or territory management experience
  • Strong experience in solution selling
  • Strong time management skills with the ability to self-manage and work autonomously
  • Tertiary qualifications in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain or a related subject
  • The ability to identify new opportunities within an existing customer base
  • Experience developing and implementing customer plans
  • A highly motivated and proactive approach
  • Strong verbal, written and interpersonal skills
