About Our Client
My client is an expert logistics service provider operating in the United Kingdom, Asia Pacific and North American regions. With over 30 years of Logistics and Supply chain experience they are looking to expand their operations here in Australia and New Zealand.
As the Regional Director, ANZ, your main purpose is to manage and be the primary contact for the clients in Australia, along with any other new contracts that are secured. The role should ensure successful running of the contracts as well as growing and developing new business.
This position reports into the Asia Pacific Director, based in Japan. The role has wide ranging interactions with all levels of the organization and is especially focused on building strong external relationships in Australia with their customers and stakeholders.
Retain existing clients at the same time expand the range of services provided Develop and secure profitable new business in the supply chain sector Manage the client relationship and communications with existing clients within the territory through high quality service delivery and the enhancement of contracted services Provide similar services for additional new clients as and when required Act as the main senior escalation point for any issues that may arise with clients Deliver an annual Business Plan to the Asia Pacific Director showing growth and profitability in line with medium- and long-term market strategy Develop and deliver profitable new business opportunities in accordance with the strategic plan for the company Be responsible for project proposals or changes to operations for new and existing logistics customers Oversee the maintenance of all equipment and other assets needed for the completion of all contracts Contribute to and support tender/bids processes as and when required Ensure the health and safety of your team is always maintained and that the working practices of the team comply with the Company disciplines and mandatory requirements of HS&E policies Demonstrate safe behaviour during your work and act to prevent or rectify any unsafe practices and hazards identified Carry out any other duty that may be required by the Asia Pacific Director

A recognised leader in the delivery of lean logistics Contract management skills and experience Excellent stakeholder and customer relationship skills Experienced in the retention and profitable growth of existing clients and the acquisition of new business People management experience and skills
