The purpose for this opportunity is to create, manage and execute social media activity across a growing business and customer facing brands. You will develop and lead social media strategies, driving organisational objectives as well as supporting local partners with online content for their own social channels. The successful candidate will have a proven background managing social media communications and coordinating social media programs across multiple channels. You will be a customer centric, social media thought leader who enjoys building meaningful connections with customers and relevant stakeholders, championing their voice and needs within the business.
Essential experience required:
2+ years’ experience in social media and/or communications management (agency or similar role) Understanding of digital marketing channels and how they relate to social media Excellent writing skills and a flair for creatively and strategic thinking Understanding of consumer trends and audience behaviour in social media A natural influencer who can work autonomously, but also enjoys a team approach Relationship management skills in order to work collaboratively with other natural gas stakeholders in order to grow the wider industry profile. Experience working within utilities or low interest categories Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite or other graphic design programs an advantage Capacity to leverage analytics tools to deliver and adapt successful social media communications. Experience working with Facebook Ad manager, Business manager and Power editor.
