An exciting opportunity has arisen for a committed and driven Production Coordinator (Women’s Accessories) to join our team.
Reporting to the Design Manager, the Production Coordinator is responsible for assisting throughout the product development process by supporting the Women’s Accessories Design team to maintain production schedules and detailed handover style packs, with the aim to ensure products are delivered on time, to pre-determined quality and specification requirements and in line with the company’s financial objectives.
Create, implement and manage critical paths and production schedules and more specifically for Leather areas. Work with the buyers to maintain these production schedules Supplier compliance/certification requirements – Direct liaise with Sourcing and Factory. Shipping liaising, with both CS and internal shipping depts, sit in on Brandbank production calls and relay any important messages back to Design manager and Team. Maintaining leather library for shoes and bags – with up-to-date raw material costs. Work with suppliers on sustainable raw material options. Assist onboarding any new suppliers working with internal and external parties. THE REQUIREMENTS:
A relevant tertiary qualification or equivalent Minimum 2-3 years’ experience in similar production role, Leather Bags and Footwear production experience will be highly regarded Ramis or other lifecycle management systems will be highly regarded Accurate data entry skills Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills Photoshop and Illustrator skills are an advantage but not essential Ability to prioritise, and manage workload to ensure key deadlines are met Good communication skills and the ability to work well under pressure Ability to problem solve and think outside the square Keen interest in the fashion industry and willingness to learn Ability to work as part of a team with a pro-active approach A good knowledge of fabrics, yarns and garment construction OUR OFFER:
