This is a boutique finance company that specialises in lending to small-medium size enterprises. They have recently refurbished offices in the heart of the Sydney CBD.
About the Role
This is a newly created role due to growth within the company.
Hours can be flexible but 9:30am-3:30pm could suit school hours.
The role is available to start immediately on a long-term contract basis but with a view to converting the role to permanent if it works out for both parties.
The duties will be varied:
Complete loan applications, including credit analyses and summaries of loan requests, and submit to loan committee for approval; Analyse credit data and financial statements to determine the degree of risk involved in lending. Negotiate terms with clients; A good document manager and record maintenance; Prepare reports that include the degree of risk involved in lending; Evaluate customer records and recommend repayment structure based on earnings, savings data, payment history, and purchase activity; Team player – Confer with credit team and other third parties (such as valuers/lawyers) to exchange information; Generate financial ratios, using computer programs, to evaluate customers’ financial status; Review individual or commercial customer files to identify and select delinquent accounts for collection; and Ongoing review and development of credit policies.
To be considered for this opportunity, you will need:
Professional presentation & communication skills; Pro-active & positive attitude; Ability to adapt & change; Advanced Microsoft skills, including Excel; and Proven banking & finance experience.
