About the role

If you have an interest in working within the justice system and would like to work in the picturesque Kimberley region of WA, we have an exciting opportunity to offer to someone with the skill set we are looking for.

The Customer Service Officer is responsible for;

Providing quality customer service to all internal and external customers of the Magistrates Court; Providing an advisory service to all internal and external customers in relation to the practice and procedures of the Magistrates Court; Providing support services to the magistrate in and out of court; Is required to travel and provide judicial support to the magistrate throughout various regions by road or light aircraft; and May be directed to work at any court location within the various regions.

About you

The successful applicant will be able to demonstrate that they can operate effectively and achieve results independently, be self-motivated and have a high level of attention to detail.

They should also have the ability to re-schedule and prioritise their workloads, respond under direction and have the willingness and ability to provide a high level of customer service to court clients and stakeholders.

It will be imperative that the successful applicant can develop and maintain effective working relationships as a member of a small team that can achieve the business area objectives as a collective.

All employees are required to undergo employment screening, which includes a National Criminal History Check and other checks that may be relevant to the position requirements.
