There is a unique opportunity for a professional to be able to demonstrate their experience in working with senior level executives at multiple client organisations helping them architect a diverse set of sophisticated technology solutions.
The Senior Architect will work alongside delivery management within the account to drive a series of defined outcomes, in parallel to working with sales management to create a vision for the future and drive incremental business opportunities.
He/She will work in conjunction with the Engagement Manager to define the schedule and help manage the team to the outcome, including mentoring of the team and helping resolve technical issues throughout delivery.
Leading the architectural design, development, deployment, and technical quality of medium to large business unit level IT based solutions (typically within multiple technology or specialty areas) Leading a team of consultants in the completion of one or more architecture, requirements, operational, or implementation deliverables. Applying knowledge of how the industry uses IT to address business challenges using, for example, technical standards and infrastructure, cross-industry trends that impact IT investment, industry-specific roadmaps, and IT enablers. Ideally have experience of working on enterprise-wide ITSM or similar solutions, and experience across ITIL service support processes (Incident, Problem, Change) Understands future technology or operational trends as they relate to and support customer business requirements (“trusted advisor” role).
Education Experience and Traits
Familiar with multiple architectural, development and operational methodologies (e.g. Zachman, TOGAF, ITSM) University or Bachelor's degree, preferably in Computing Science, or associated specialisation Extensive experience within industry on similar solutions (5-10 years) Able to demonstrable experience of working with CxO level individuals and senior government department officials Strong team ethos and mentor approach
