The role will primarily support DDMS In-Service Support but will also support other Deployable Systems OAS tasking such as TADRS Supply Support tasks. Specific provision of services includes spares management, support for quotations, tracking of deep level maintenance repairs, calibration of Test Equipment and develop contracted reporting as required.
Some of the key activities you will undertake are:
Management of CoA owned DDMS product IAW the requirements of the Electronic Supply Chain Manual (eSCM) Management of LMA owned DDMS product using MEX Inventory Management System and LMA Supply Support Policies and Procedures Coordination the Part Repair Pipelines for all MILIS managed DDMS Repairable Items and consumables to ensure targets are met or exceeded Coordinate all DDMS local procurement activities with LMA Procurement Team and external stakeholders to meet operational timelines Communicate with LMA counterparts and associated external stakeholders to expedite or investigate critical items Liaison with LMA and CoA technical SME’s to verify part numbers and configuration status of repairable items and their authority to fit Support DDMS Obsolescence Management by reporting on known issues and their status Raise, track and report on the status of purchase requests for inventory required to support LMA maintenance and supply Conduct inventory management duties for stock items assigned to LMA on the DDMS Program Assist in identifying in-country repair and/or production capability for authorised DDMS Products.
To be successful, you will have:
Experience in Defence or similar logistics areas including Procurement, Inventory Control, Asset Management Significant relevant experience within a professional logistics environment and/or Relevant qualifications to diploma level Essential to have qualifications in MILIS SPO Inventory Controller, including MILIS Item Management, MILIS Warehousing / Management, AIMS (Repairable &/or Consumable), FEDLOG, Workbench (Procurement), MEX Inventory / Maintenance Management System Strong customer partnering focus Demonstrate a clear understanding of WHS and its application in the workplace Qualifications in MILIS Purchasing, Repairable Item Management, AIMS Repairable/Consumable, Warehousing or Stock Control Account Unit Clerk. Ability to read and understand technical drawings would be advantageous Experience working in an Integrated Project Team.
