We are seeking an experienced Head of National Sales to lead the referrer engagement strategy and sales team for Oncology at GenesisCare Australia. The role will drive and support strategy development and implementation through the leadership of the Referrer Engagement (Sales) team, as well as lead data driven segmentation to prioritise, optimise, and scale opportunities. In addition, this role will drive detailed referrer action plans, reporting of clinical referrer sales, and will have ownership of streamlining referral pathways. This role is accountable for delivering sales outcomes and performance at our centres.
What you’ll do:
Mentor, coach and manage Referrer Engagement (Sales) team to support them in the creation and development of ongoing localised engagement strategies to drive performance
Create and deliver an annual data driven multi-channel referrer engagement plan with a focus on digital integration to educate and engage HCPs including GPs, surgeons, oncologists, nurses
Create and maintain relationships with selected key opinion leaders including potential & existing referrers (surgeons, oncologists, radiologists), HCP networks and referral pathways
Own and drive the systematic improvement of sales leads through streamlining referral pathways
Work with the Commercial and Marketing Director, and the broader marketing team to align initiatives to commercial performance and national marketing initiatives
Work with Business Development in the creation of engagement strategies for new sites and services
Partner with “Service of the Future” to create and implement the roll out of new clinical strategies and services to the centres
Who you are:
Proven success leading national teams and significant experience in specialist healthcare services sales (oncology experience would be preferable)
Proven ability to build consultant level peer-to-peer relationships with clinicians and other healthcare professionals, particularly with surgeons and medical oncologists
Strong knowledge of the Australian public and private hospital system and existing relationships with private hospital management
Great selling, presentation, interpersonal and communication skills to succeed in delivering results from referrer relationships
An ability to develop and implement innovative solutions that drive optimal outcomes for stakeholders
CRM implementation and change management experience
