We are seeking an Analyst to join our Canberra (preference), Melbourne or Sydney office on a permanent basis, with a focus on business development for the Public Sector practice area (PSPA). Primarily an analytical role, you will be responsible for analysing, reporting and driving our business development efforts within our PSPA.
YOU'RE GOOD AT
Key responsibilities of this role include:
Lead analysis and support research for business development purposes
Analyse general market, industry-specific, competitor and prospective client research in support of marketing and business development initiatives in PSPA Support client and local PSPA strategic and operational planning Assist in coordinating marketing activity, including events as required Lead the development and coordination of practice calls, business development activity tracking and reporting Support research and knowledge tasks for case teams and clients as required Drive and manage CCO priority agenda projects Support/Project manage BD initiatives, contributing as a team member on proposal bids Support public sector procurement proposals, processes and analysis Monitor and analyse the public sector consulting market Identify and screen public tenders/RFPs Project manage tender/ proposal submissions, coordinating proposal teams Develop, maintain and enhance business development tools Develop, maintain and promote systems to effectively capture new and existing case/proposal material Develop, maintain and update proposal support tools Develop systems to effectively monitor proposal/panel outcomes and updates Maintain and update the practice’s various contracts and reporting requirements
YOU BRING (EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS)
Relevant degree or equivalent experience Experience (Preferred but not required) Experience in an Analyst role with a business Development focus Strong research experience with proven problem-solving skills An understanding of government processes and systems with highly developed verbal and written communication skills
