Our Client is a reputable global group within the ol and gas services market. This role heads up the finance function for one of the smaller subsiadiary compaies based in Perth, which has a turnover of c. $3 million.
As this is a stand alone function for the company reporting to a Group Finance Manager based on the East Coast the role is hands on and holds responsibility for payroll, AP, AR, monthly management reporting, budget preparation and on-going management as well as the statutory reporting and audit process. The deadlines set from Group level are quite tight, and the expectations on accuracy high, so while the volume of transactions is limited in this role, your attention to detail will be paramount. Weekly and monthly analysis on performance is an expectation.
The Successful Applicant
You will be a CA/CPA qualified professional with a strong attention to detail, and ideally be used to working as part of a global group under set guidelines for reporting. Given the stand alone nature of the role, you must have proven experience in the transactional elements of finance from payroll, AR, AP as well as of course the proven experience in more financial and management reporting. The company run of Navision so any exposure to the software will be to your advantage, that said, your Excel skills (pivot, V look up) will be used daily so proficiency in these areas are a must.
