We are currently recruiting for a Sales Specialist - Storage to be based in Canberra. You will expand and increase the footprint and market share for Storage and Data Management solutions into Federal government agencies, owning and driving these opportunities from inception to closure.
As Sales Specialist - Storage and Data Management you will: -
Build trusted customer relationships with executives and work as a member of a cross function sales team to drive growth and sales within Federal government accounts going deep and wider Develop pursuit plans and build and manage the Storage and Data Management Platforms pipeline for assigned Federal territory accounts Negotiate, structure, and close "deals" that meet customer expectations Be accountable, achieve sales goals and financial target objectives Effectively report on opportunity identification and updates leveraging SFDC and other reporting tools
About You: -
Recent experience working in the Defence and national security environment would be highly desirable Storage/Server/Infrastructure sales experience either in a Sales or Pre-Sales capacity Working knowledge of Storage and Data Centre highly regarded Positive sales professional with high energy “Hunter" sales approach Proven ability to close off new business Ability to craft complex and innovative solutions that deliver customer outcomes Proven track record in achieving and/or exceeding targets set Excellent presentation, negotiation and interpersonal skills Federal Government Security Clearance is highly regarded
