The Role
In this role you will provide key data to the Supply Chain performance Manager, helping to efficiently manage the Regional Inventory and Materials Master Data. You will also be responsible to provide visibility and synthetic information to the Supply Chain performance management team, through efficient data analysis and reporting.

You will work closely with Specialists, Cataloguers and Analysts across the department.

Your key responsibilities include:

Data analysis: Identification of the data to be collectedPropose methodology and process to extract the requested dataPerform the data collection, and consolidationReview and presentation of the findings to ManagementData validationImplement automatic reportingContinuous improvement of reporting, data collection, and processes Support Inventory optimisation and Performance through: Gather data and prepare report for engagement with end users, to educate them on the inventory policyProcess system transaction and all the Inventory related updates (levels, classification, criticality, etc)Assist the alignment of Global Copper stocking policy and system functionality Provide system expertise: Analytical capacity to identify optimisation opportunities in system transactions that will streamline operationsImplement reporting as per Management KPI requestParticipate to the implementation of improved processes/functionalitiesRepresent the local team and engage with SAP global team to drive system improvement Assist the Performance manager in system configuration, specification and testing to roll out supply chain strategies. Active participate in the roll out the inventory optimisation software: Optimiza and coordinate with IT, SAP etc. to ensure successful local implementation. Be fully engaged in solution design. The execution of the responsibilities of this role must be undertaken in line with the Glencore Values and Code of Conduct. The successful applicants will have:
Tertiary Qualification in engineering or commercial and/or technical related. Minimum 10 years’ experience in Supply Chain data analytical within inventory, purchasing, logistics, and contract areas. Experience in participating in management of large projects or teams effectively to deliver commercial outcomes; Strong Systems Software implementation experience (ERP, business intelligence, Optimisation) Experience within heavy industry sector such as mining or oil/gas. MS Office suit.
