The Monash Rural Health, Gippsland Regional Training Hub has an exciting new position that will support the development of postgraduate pathways to improve regional training and career opportunities for junior doctors. The Manager will support the Gippsland Regional Training Hub (GRTH) to address rural medical workforce recruitment and retention. The GRTH Manager will also provide high quality administrative support to the GRTH Director to develop and implement the objectives of the program.
This role will involve working with junior doctors, relevant education professionals, rural and regional hospitals and health services, state and local government, other universities, specialist colleges (including general practice colleges, postgraduate medical councils, local health practitioners and regional training organisations), to support the development of postgraduate medical training across the Gippsland region.
You will use your expertise in a range of highly developed skills including:
high level conceptual and analytical skills and the capacity to develop evidence-based strategies to achieve program outcomes demonstrated organisational and project management skills and the ability to develop, implement and maintain program and administrative processes to achieve project goals and agreed deadlines demonstrated ability to build successful relationships with multiple and diverse stakeholders, and to manage these relationships and expectations effectively
