Client Details

Reporting to the Country General Manager based in New Zealand, the Operations Executive is responsible for managing the operations of company products relating to import, export, and travel within Australia and New Zealand. The role provides an exciting mix of regional travel and home-based work with a strong focus on being autonomous.

As a key member of the Operations Team, this role is responsible for the B2B customers of large corporate business requiring approximately 40% of the time out at the depots and 3LP sites managing important stakeholders and 60% working from home.


Overall, the key areas of responsibility include (but not limited to):

Daily communication with suppliers and forwarders on import and export Regular performance reviews with 3PL vendors Regular communication with internal stakeholders located in Singapore Head office Conduct SOP training and process audit in Australia and New Zealand Depots Drive smooth and effective turnaround of company product with optimum cost management Prepare and provide shipping documents to agents/ shipping lines Liaise with agents on the application of customs permits and depot operator on export requirements Complete freight booking for export Maintenance of trucking rates and other modes of transport Regular negotiations with freight and trucking services


To be considered for this role you will have:

Relevant Diploma or above is highly desirable Experience with business to business Confident and strong negotiating skills Excellent with analysing data Good investigation skill and ability to problem solve Experience with import, export, and depot management highly preferred Experience working in an autonomous position 10 years' experience within a major Food, Supply Chain or Logistics provider Knowledge in ISO 9001, OHSAS 18001/SS506 and Lean/ Six sigma is favourable Flexibility to travel nationally and to New Zealand with no restrictions (when permitted) Able to pass an Australian Police Check
