Credit Analysis and Credit Decision:
Analysis of the counterparty, underlying credit risk and transaction structure Development of risk mitigating strategies / condition to improve the risk profile Assessing the quality & suitability of the collateral being offered (checking liquidity & concentration), referring to the Bank’s Global / Regional Credit Policies Ensuring the appropriate counterparty & collateral risk ratings are generated to understand the overall risk of the transaction Performs timely facility review and ensuring all conditions and covenants are fulfilled as per approval Approving credit facilities within granted competency, otherwise bring up cases to a higher credit authority Collaborating closely with Loan Operations, Compliance and General Counsel Division regarding documentation and legal / regulatory related matters. Review documentation to ensure that the terms and conditions align with the credit approval. Strong, effective partner management skills and able to perform the 2nd line of defense’ role to ensure risk taking activity is prudent, within the risk appetite, relevant risk limits, and/or operational capability of the firm.
Credit Monitoring / Exposure Management:
Carrying out periodic credit facility reviews and exposure monitoring tasks on a daily, weekly, monthly basis Conducting scenario / sensitivity analyses in order to detect potential risks and shortcomings, enforcing credit breach, margin calls and liquidations if required Conduct reviews (if applicable) with panel valuers Tracking the status of all pending credit documentation for those accounts where these are incomplete and ensuring timely completion/perfection of these documents.
Assist in producing ad-hoc / regular credit risk & related reports for local, regional & global internal (Management / Audit) & external partners (Regulators)
Support Strategic Initiatives and Projects:
Active support for local, regional & global initiatives and projects (including conducting training) Fostering an active partnership and communication with key internal partners

This should be further elaborated on in your application. 5+ years mortgage credit risk experience and held a personal approval authority. Experience in complex credit structure analysis and decisions. Sound understanding of mortgage regulation and the local property market. Portfolio management skills including exposure monitoring, credit reviews, stress analysis etc. Ability to manage partners across a number of areas. Result oriented, dedicated, hardworking who can work on own initiative and can deliver on time under pressure with a high level of integrity and flexibility, sense of urgency, attention to detail and quality standards
