Western Health is seeking an experienced Medical Workforce Coordinator to undertake all aspects junior doctor recruitment and operations including: registration, credentialing, contracts, on-boarding, rostering, payroll and leave management for the Junior Medical staff employed by Western Health

The role requires attention to detail and excellent verbal and written communication skills.

To be successful within this role you will be able to demonstrate:


  • Relevant Educational Qualifications or proven ability in office administration

  • Experience in staff recruitment

  • Processing of Electronic Rostering and Timesheet Application knowledge

  • Flexibility in working hours including weekend availability

  • Ability to work as part of a team

  • Openness to learning and change

  • Attention to detail and high level of accuracy in all aspects of work

  • Experience in preparation, processing and administration of contracts

  • Rostering Experience

  • Outstanding organisational skills with meticulous attention to detail

  • Ability to prioritise and meet time critical deadlines

  • Excellent IT skills and experience (including databases)

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Effective working relationships with all stakeholders

  • Desirable

  • Previous experience using Cgov System

  • Previous experience using Roster On

  • Previous experience using eRecruit

  • Previous experience in MaP

  • Knowledge of AHPRA and Visa/Immigration Requirements for IMG’s
