The role

The role of the Technical Sales Representative is to drive sales of Surface Drills in the Eastern Australian market areas by bringing the best of Sandvik’s offering to meet a given customer requirement and deliver on sales targets. A key part of the role is to promote fact-based value of Sandvik’s Surface Drill offering and to pursue a Total Cost of Ownership approach to drive customer value and to maximize sales of Sandvik Surface Drills.

This role will involve a significant amount of state-wide and interstate travel. This role can be based either in Milton, QLD or Heatherbrae, NSW.

As the Technical Sales Representative, you will be:

  • conducting yourself in accordance with our EHS Vision to achieve Zero Harm to; our people, the environment we work in, our customers and our suppliers
  • Responsible for achievement of budgeted revenue
  • Developing a sales plan and strategies for territories and customers
  • Development of sales opportunities
  • Ensuring equipment or solutions are specified to meet customer’s needs
  • Your profile

    You have an interest in attaining product knowledge of Surface Drilling applications, a preference is for experience with Sandvik Surface Drill products and with a high level of initiative, drive and determination. Superior customer service skills with excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to understand the key drivers of your customers is a must.

    You must have the legal right to live and work in Australia.
