About the Role

We are seeking for an enthusiastic and passionate Multi Ethnic Ministries Worker to join us on a on a maximum term for 12 months, part time 26 hours per week. The Multi Ethnic Ministries Worker will report into the Area Officer of South West Queensland and is responsible for:

Establishing and leading a small group bible studyProviding pastoral care to those coming from Culturally and Linguistically Diverse (CALD) communities and exploring pathways for faith developmentEstablishing a leadership team to explore ways to strategically address recurring issues that emerge within the CALD communityCoordinate the annual multicultural worship gatheringProvide support to Corps

About you

Relevant Diploma/degree qualifications for a ministry workerExperience in ministry will be highly regardedPrevious experience of working within a community development role will be highly regarded Demonstrated understanding of working with vulnerable families from culturally diverse backgrounds is essentialFull QLD Drivers Licence
