The primary responsibilities of the position include:

  • Providing excellent, person-centred resident care in relation to each individuals needs
  • Provide guidance and support to the care team and act as a mentor in their development
  • Maintain documentation; completing resident assessments, incident investigation and related care documents in accordance with policies, procedures and to meet accreditation standards
  • Work collaboratively with the ACFI team and management to achieve expected ACFI results and organisational targets
  • Encourage genuine connections between residents, families and staff
  • Utilising the suite of technology to report, plan, analyse and manage resident care and workplace behaviour 

    • To be successful in this position, you will demonstrate:

  • Division 1 Nursing Registration with AHPRA
  • Understanding of the aged care legislative framework and requirements, including safe medication administration is essential
  • Understands the Aged Care Funding Instrument (ACFI)
  • Able to lead, mentor and support clinical staff effectively
  • Critical thinker with excellent time management skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
  • Thoughtful and naturally able to build relationships with residents and families
  • Friendly and positive with an empathetic approach to providing clinical care
