Executive/ Manager, Product Control - Financial Management Group (BB-AD324)

Not your average Product Control role, this opportunity in our Financial Management Group supports our Group Treasury and Commodities and Global Markets operating groups, focusing on revenue analyses, facing off to the business and liaising with traders regarding risk, trading strategies and new products. Initially the role will focus on our Group Treasury desks and interest rate management products, with opportunities to expand your experience to cover our other financial markets trading businesses as your experience grows.

You will be the central point of contact with the business on all controls related issues with respect to revenue reporting and daily/monthly controls. A separate team perform the end to end month-end close process allowing you to focus on revenue analyses, building and maintaining strong internal relationships with the Front Office, Market risk, Financial Control and ensuring an effective control environment is maintained by identifying risk and enhancements to the overall control framework.

We ask that you combine your strong financial control or product experience and understanding of complex products to provide insights and analytics to the business. We’d like you to have:

  • experience in a product control or financial control function
  • CA/CPA or other similar qualification highly advantageous
  • excellent knowledge of financial products (i.e. bonds, derivatives, structured products)
  • strong communication with proven influencing and stakeholder management skills
  • achievement / results orientated mindset
  • commercial acumen.
