Institutional is looking to further build its data capabilities and extend automation and simplification efforts across its operations globally. As such a project has been set up to define, design and deliver sourcing, storage and data management capabilities. As the Senior Business Analyst, your role requires you to support the solution definition and delivery activities required to be implementation, working closely with in flight and planned divisional initiatives. It is also expected that youll have the knowledge of the ANZ delivery framework (ADF) as well as an ability to help business to define detailed required that can be readily used by the technology team to develop and test proposed solutions. You will have to work with a wide range of stakeholders in the Division (business, operations, technology, projects) and Group (finance, risk, data governance, technology). Data Management Knowledge, experience in helping define and articulate business problems with data and capability to conduct data analysis are required competencies for the roles. About You To be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following Extensive business analysis experience and strong direct experience with Data analysis, Business analysis and business data modelling. Experience on major projects is required. Has a clear understanding of regulatory, operational and financial data analysis. In-depth knowledge of business analysis tasks, highly skilled in elicitation techniques and experienced in requirements gathering skills. Detailed understanding of project management lifecycles, disciplines and procedures. Some domain knowledge of impacted business units. Detailed knowledge and experience in working on mid to large sized projects or as part of large transformation activities Strong communication, problem solving and quantitative analysis skills. Ability to translate analysis outcomes into commercial solutions. Can appreciate difficult problems and is a self-starter to work autonomously on tasks with a medium complexity, works collaboratively as part of a team and clearly represent consolidated findings. Strong understanding of business process and banking systems. Strong understanding and good working knowledge of Database querying (e.g. SQL), Excel / Access, Microsoft Word, and Microsoft PowerPoint Strong understanding and demonstrated experience in ANZ internal systems (Group and Divisions) and related processes.
