Who You'll Be Working With

Global Power Services is a WA based construction company specialised in a number of key High voltage and associated disciplines including Substation civil and structural services, High voltage plant, Transformer management, Primary electrical construction, Secondary assembly/wiring and Testing/commissioning services. We have undertaken works across Australia, from capital cities and confined work spaces to remote rural areas with unique logistical issues. We have the expertise to cope with the harshest terrain and working conditions

Substation Electricians

We are currently looking for an experienced personnel to join our team for the projects at Perth Metro, South West and Goldfields Region of Western Australia :

Ideally 3 years relevant work experience

Fully Licensed electrician (WA Electrical License)

Experience substation electrical works (HV Primary areals, LV & Secondary Cable glanding & Termination etc), reading design drawings, and work as per relevant safety standards.

A positive attitude and a very strong work ethic required.

Construction White Card and relevant plant operator tickets.

A positive attitude towards Safety is a requirement.

Be available to start immediately

Other preferred (but not mandatory) qualifications: EWP, Fork Lift, Dogging, Basic First Aid & CPR and Western Power Substation Entry Level 2 with Network Authority Card

The successful candidate/s must be both strong and fit with relevant site experience.

Ability to work in a consistent, professional manner is essential.

Applicants must have common sense, ability to work as part of a team, be hard working and honest. Must be keen and able to learn quickly as required.

Remuneration negotiable and depend on skills and experience and the position offered.

This role requires travelling for work. We work on a 11 days on 3 days off roster driving in our time. Most of our projects are located in the Southern half of WA.
