Working within this busy Government department as Hogan Assessment Specialist your focus will be the selection and application of assessment methodologies and tools which optimise candidate experience and maximise Hiring Manager insights to support specific selection situations

 Key accountabilities:
  • Provide expert advice and support to Hiring Managers and Talent Specialists in the selection, application and interpretation of assessment methodologies and tools to support certain selection activities to ensure the most commercial and appropriate assessment is used
  • Develop, implement, coordinate, and evaluate events and strategies to assess individual knowledge, skills, abilities, and personality characteristics as they relate to particular positions and work areas to ensure the delivery of quality applicants within acceptable time and budgetary limits
  • Collate and interpret assessment results and provide associated reports and recommendations as required to ensure clients understand the outcomes of the assessments and are provided with a customer focused service
  • Develop customised assessment centre/work simulation task to ensure individual knowledge, skills, abilities and personality characteristics as they relate to particular positions and work areas are assessed appropriately
  • Develop and implement strategies and tools for the continuous monitoring and evaluation of assessment initiatives and other activities to ensure that emerging risks and threats are identified and mitigation, minimisation and/or elimination strategies are developed and implemented.
  • Build strong and collaborative working relationships with assessment services and product vendors and suppliers to ensure assessment services and products support the talent process and are value for money
  • Research and analyse current trends and best practice in assessment methodologies and tools establishing an evidence base to identify approaches systems and products which best supports the achievement of talent objectives
  • Provide routine and ad-hoc reports and advice to management on team performance and issues to ensure informed business decisions are made regarding planning and resource allocation
Key challenges:
  • Developing and maintaining external and internal relationships and communications with key stakeholders
  • Support team members and work collaboratively to contribute to achieving the team's business outcomes. Participate in meetings to share information and provide input on issues
  • Keeping up to date with the range, pace and complexity of information and knowledge required to deliver quality service

What you need to bring to the role:
  • Solid experience with behavioural and aptitude testing / administration and clear communication skills
  • Ability to start immediately and have skills needed to add value from day one
  • Halo, Pearsons and Hogan system experience is a must
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal and working with senior executives
