The Role

Reporting to the Project Manager, the Field Supervisor will be responsible for management of the day to day activities in conjunction with the Project Manager. The role is a Permanent Full-Time position, located at our Heatherton office.

What you’ll be doing:
  • Work closely with the NOA team to ensure contract objectives and KPI’s are achieved. 
  • Mentor IWF and provide coaching to improve our performance.
  • Liaise with NBN relationship manager to ensure all issues are resolved in a timely manner,
  • A field supervisor is also expected to possess sufficient business acumen to ensure that the profitability and financial security of the area of supervision is understood, monitored and proactively managed to ensure longevity and a return on investment for all stakeholders.
  • Proactively manage all requirements and take ownership of problems and issues to ensure the best outcome for the business.
  • Managing the progress of works at various sites to meet client expectations within constraints of time, budget, safety, environmental and quality.
  • Provide weekly reporting on performance measures back to the Project Manager or delegated authority.
  • FTTN and HFC activation and assurance activities
  • Site Audits and LOUQ reports / activities completed for by all supervisors the current week.
  • Updates on any churn or attrition of current IWF and CWF and what impact the reduction will have on the next Seven (7) days productivity.

  • About You
    To ensure success in this role, you should possess extensive supervision experience working on project works at multiple sites with internal and external stakeholders.

    You will also possess the following: 

  • At least 5 years’ experience in the telecommunications industry preferably in a high-volume Ticket Of Work environment
  • Knowledge of FTTN or HFC activation and assurance activities
  • Previous supervisory experience is essential
  • Strong knowledge of the Telstra/NBN network
  • Possess a current state driver licence along with a preparedness to drive as part of normal duties
  • Willingness to travel and work away from home
  • Be medically fit and possess the necessary qualifications and training
