About the Role:

Reporting in to the Head of Performance Marketing APAC, you will be responsible for driving forward the digital marketing strategy and execution to grow market share for Lookfantastic Japan. The role will be based at our Sydney HQ.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Working with the APAC country managers to plan, build and execute the territory strategy, through all Performance Marketing channels: PPC, Affiliates, Social, Influencers, CRM & SEO
  • Driving accelerated new customer acquisition whilst reducing the CAC (Customer Acquisition Costs)
  • Identify new localised partnership relationships and new to market routes to accelerate awareness, reach and new customer acquisition
  • Take lead across the Japanese influencer marketing program to scale sales for the country, working with the central leads to provide clear strategic guidance and program growth (including but not limited to launching the territory beauty professional program).
  • Ownership of the Marketing COS% budget ensuring that channel mix participation improvements, within channel efficiencies and growth targets are implemented to underspend vs. the monthly / annual budget
  • Working closely with the CRM leads better cohort model the territory customers in order to improve annual spend per account
  • Responsible for driving forward the affiliate performance, on boarding new relationships and growing our presence with Japan
  • Working along side the PPC manager to ensure strong growth for the channel on all localised search engines and platforms
  • Working along side the SEO team to ensure fully localised content is marketed across the site and channels
  • Ensuring all performance marketing activations closely align to the trading, social and campaigns calendar to maximise opportunity within the market
  • Establish key relationships across localised platforms such as LINE and A8 to improve partnerships and influence the marketing technology integration roadmap
  • Feeding back on initiatives around continuous site improvements to maximise conversion and AOV and reduce bounce rate on site and reduce barriers to buying online
  • Requirements

  • 2 years + experience across the digital marketing channels with a strong social, political and economic understanding of the JP market
  • Native level Japanese speaking and written ability
  • Strong analytical and reporting skills, ensuring data is at the heart of the decisions we make
  • Team player – able to collaborate across functions and build strong relationships both internally and externally
  • Initiative – able to think outside of the box and provide solutions to business challenges
