Description Network 10 currently has an opportunity for an Assistant Accountant to join their Sydney Finance team for a fixed term maternity cover. Located within close proximity to the CBD, this role will suit a self-motivated candidate who is available immediately to hit the ground running in a fast-paced environment. The position has a strong focused on month end journals and reporting, fixed assets register maintenance, as well as assisting with year-end statutory requirements. Reporting to the Senior Financial Accountant, your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

Fixed Asset register maintenance

Preparation and posting of month end Journals

Weekly payroll journals

Balance Sheet reconciliations

FBT and Tax analysis

Assisting with Financial and Statutory reporting

Liaising with internal clients across the business

Qualifications The successful candidate will be degree qualified and have at least 2 years relevant experience. Your attention to detail, organisational skills and ability to prioritise a high workload will allow you to succeed in this fast paced and challenging work environment. You will have excellent communication skills and the ability to work well in a team.With intermediate to advanced excel skills, you will ideally have experience with Oracle/SAP or a similar financial system.
