The Role

KU Concord are looking for an experienced and qualified Early Childhood Teacher who values making a difference in children’s lives, thrives on partnering with families, is keen to further develop their skills and wants to join a passionate, capable and dedicated team.

On offer is a permanent full time position working 8 hours per day Monday to Friday on a rotating roster and monthly acrued Rostered Days Off (RDO).

The successful candidate will have:

  • Work rights to enable you to work in Australia
  • A current NSW Working with Children Check
  • A recognised Early Childhood Teaching degree level of qualification in Early Childhood or similar as approved by Australian Children’s Education and Quality Authority (ACECQA)
  • Teacher Accreditation through NESA
  • Current Child Protection training and a strong understanding of your role as a mandatory reporter
  • A current First Aid certificate as approved by ACECQA, CPR, and approved Asthma and Anaphylaxis Management certificates
  • Sound understanding of the Education and Care Services National Law (2010) and the Education and Care Services National Regulations (2011) and how they apply in NSW
  • Working knowledge of the Early Years Learning Frameworks (EYLF) 
  • Professional level of written and verbal communication skills
  • Computer literacy skills
