Overview

Introduction

As a Placement Consultant, in Disability Employment Services, based in our Chelsea site, you'll be doing so much more than finding jobs. You will be conducting a variety of functions including screening assessments, individual and group activities, case reviews, peer coaching and support, along with sustainability programs with employers.

You will also be responsible for linking quality health professional services to occupational goals and working in conjunction with a range of stakeholders to deliver solutions to support ongoing sustainable employment.

    • About you

  • High level of interpersonal communication and organisational skills
  • Disability, Health or Employment sector experience is preferred
  • Ability to overcome objections, and break down employment barriers that exist for people with disability
  • Awareness of vulnerabilities to employment and the effects of unemployment
  • Effective, positive problem solving and conflict resolution skills
  • Willingness to obtain Police Check and Working with Children Check
