A LITTLE ABOUT THE ROLE
Sika Australia is currently seeking to engage an experienced QA & HSE Coordinator to join our NSW Head Office Team. This role is focused in delivering Quality outcomes. The successful applicant will be responsible for supporting the National HSE Manager in all Quality and Health, Safety, Environmental activities including Training, Development, and Maintenance of the Sika Management System (SMS).

This position has a strong focus on Quality with small aspects of WHS.

MORE SPECIFICALLY YOU WILL

  • Assist in the National HSE Manager in:The development and maintenance of the SMS (Sika Management System)Preparing and maintaining compliance for ISO-14001, ISO-9001 and OHSAS-18001Preparing various reports including incident statistical reporting etcMaintaining printed and digital document files for the SMS (Sika Management System)Developing and supporting quality improvement projects Supporting HSE across the business
  • Maintain Quality, Health Safety and Environmental files
  • Work alongside multiple departments and individuals in various capacities in a professional, courteous and respectful manger
  • Demonstrate and promote safety leadership
  • Maintain a high level of integrity and confidentiality with regard to Company information
  • Ensure adherence to all of Sika Australia's Safety Policies and Procedures
  • Maintain a thorough understanding of Legislation, Regulations and Industry Standards impacting the SMS (Sika Management System)

    A LITTLE ABOUT YOU

    To be successful within this role, you will:

  • Have a minimum 3 years’ experience within a Quality Department or similar
  • Be educated to a degree level or relevant experience in Quality or HSE
  • Have Applied knowledge of QHSE Management Systems
  • Have the ability to work within strict deadlines
  • Have excellent reading, proof-reading, editing, and technical writing skills and verbal communication skills
  • Have proficient computer and software skills on Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook etc)
  • Previous experience with a manufacturing or construction company is highly regarded
