Our Role

We are recruiting a Maintenance Supervisor to lead our highly skilled trades people at our Charbon Lime Plant. The town is at the western foot of the Blue Mountains, It is in between Mudgee and Lithgow. reporting to the Plant Manager this role is responsible for managing and ensuring machine efficiency to support production requirement in safe working environment.

  • Lead, facilitate and monitor quality of work in all aspects of maintenance and engineering function carried out by both internal and external team.
  • Ensure that all equipment and machinery are properly designed, selected, installed and commissioned.
  • Ensure that the Asset Register and stock items are maintained accurately and keep record of deficiencies noted during corrective maintenance.
  • Maintain and advise on the use and disposition of stock items, surplus items and equipment rental.
  • Provide technical guidance and consult with all maintenance department staffs concerning equipment, work related problems, advance troubleshooting and equipment redesign.
  • Work closely with the production team and other departments in connection with mechanical and engineering function.
  • Maximize equipment/machine uptime and reduce maintenance expenditures.
  • Perform root cause failure mode analysis for all equipment failures and implement corrective actions.
  • Perform any such comparable duties as required by the Company from time to time and shall responds positively.

    • The successful candidate will have a qualification in electrical engineering or simillar. Previous work experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in Cement, Lime, Chemical or Petrochemical Industry. A strong knowledge of quality, engineering standards and government regulations. Experience in leading and guiding a team of mechanical and electrical trades people.
