Job Title: Senior Natural Resources Officer (Floodplain) Employment Type: Ongoing Location: Dubbo Salary starting from $123,229 plus superannuation Exciting opportunity to work in a collaborative team, be involved in delivering the NSW Floodplain Management Plan in north west NSW; working with local government to assess flood risk to urban areas and plan interventions to reduce flood risk. About the Role: This is a challenging position, which provides a unique opportunity to work across remote areas in northern NSW working with local government to improve flood safety. In this role, you will travel extensively through the region and attend flood committee meetings with local government, technical consultants and community representatives assisting them with both technical and project management aspects of the work program. In addition to these requirements we are looking for someone who is looking for an ongoing position in the regional centre of Dubbo. Someone who is willing to travel throughout the region and thrives in a demanding role.
