Our Field Service business provides 24/7 servicing and support for our extensive portfolio including; Commercial buildings and offices, hospitals, utilities, data centres and everything in-between. We enable owners, end users and custodians to minimise breakdowns, increase reliability, efficiency and safety while reducing costs and simplifying operations.

Based in Malaga Perth and reporting to the Service Delivery Manager, we have a great opportunity for a qualified and experienced   Service Technician  to join our Field Services team. You will be required to work on - call on a 24/7 rotating roster, weekends, out of hours work and frequent local and occasional interstate travel will be necessary.

Specific Responsibilities Will Include But Not Limited To

  • Carry out preventative maintenance on Schneider Electric sites and identify opportunities for system improvements and enhancements
  • Attend to breakdowns and callouts during business and after hours
  • Perform minor installation work and controller replacements
  • Liaise with end users, contractors and FM teams to ensure delivery KPI’s are met

    • Required skills and attributes will include the following;

  • Thorough working knowledge of commercial HVAC plant, equipment and BMS systems
  • Good understanding of sustainability and ability to identify energy saving opportunities
  • Strong understanding of IT networking, server configuration and cybersecurity
  • Flexible and adaptable in your approach to work, whilst maintaining the highest standards of workplace health and safety and customer satisfaction
  • Highly developed technical problem-solving skills and a passionate customer centric approach
  • Highly driven and confident, you work well autonomously or as a member of a team
  • You prioritise your work and follow through to completion, achieving results motivates you

    • Required qualifications and experience

  • Current refrigeration/mechanical trade qualification or Mechanical engineering degree
  • Current Full or Restricted electrical license (Recognised in WA)
  • Minimum one years controls, mechanical and electrical experience.
  • MS Office skills (Word, Excel, and Outlook)
  • MSSQL
  • Valid driver’s license

    • Highly regarded

  • Networking troubleshooting experience
