What you'll be doing
Provide optimum sterilisation services of hospital equipment and instruments within the Central Sterilising Service Department reflective of current infection control measures and in accordance with statutory requirements and Mid North Coast Local Health District policies and procedures.

  1. Completion of Certificate III in Sterilisation Technology at TAFE
  3. Recent practise in a hospital based sterilising department
  5. Proven ability to perform complex tasks and meet demands under general supervision
  7. Sound computer knowledge and ability to understand relevant programs associated with CSSD
  9. Demonstrated attention to detail and ability to undertake repetitive tasks
  11. Ability to participate in a seven day rotating roster
  13. Demonstrated ability to apply and share professional expertise
  15. Ability to adapt to change in a fast paced work environment which is constantly evolving to meet demands
