The GBF Underground Mining Company began in 1988 in the Western Australian Goldfields as a locally owned and operated private underground mining contractor. The founders had a vision to become the Australian Mining Industry's preferred services provider through continuous improvement and a commitment to excellence in safety, quality, efficiency and client services

By concentrating on the core business of underground mining and industrial services and providing a safe, reliable and efficient service to their clients GBF have firmly established themselves as leaders in their fields. Across these four companies GBF now employ over 350 staff.
