About the Role
Given the opportunities at BMC, this role will deliver excellent exposure to advance your career through leading a team, interacting with stakeholders and positively contributing to the productivity at Poitrel.
Reporting to the Superintendent Mine Scheduling BMC, this lead role will see you lead and develop a team to deliver safe and accurate mine designs and schedules at Poitrel Mine.This role contributes toward the longer term strategic direction and supporting the direct team to deliver day-to day.
The successful applicant will get exposure across all design and scheduling disciplines through appropriately timed development rotations as well as lead a team from the front.
You will have the ability to utilise your mine scheduling, planning and leadership skills, as well as influencing the performance & providing guidance to a high performing team.
This role is based at the Poitrel Mine Site and will work across a back to back 8/6 roster arrangement. Flexibility to discuss commute and residential options.
In this role you will:
About You
You will be a degree qualified Mining Engineer and will have experience with Truck & Excavator design, Dozer Push design, Drill & Blast engineering and both Short and Medium term scheduling. Acquired RPEQ status will be viewed favourably or demonstrated experience in Mining Geotechnical Engineering is desirable.
You will have a strong desire to mentor and lead a team and may have previous experience in a leadership role. You actively engage your stakeholders and enjoy collaboration and networking.
You will be a performance and achievement oriented professional, who is motivated by exceeding expectations and achieving excellent results.
