About the Role

You will be responsible for providing chair-side assistance to the Dentist/Dental Specialist/Hygienist in the delivery of dental services to patients. You will also assist with administrative tasks such as entering/updating patient records as well as other duties as required by the Dentist including promotion of oral health to patients and maintaining optimal hygiene of the surgery.

To be successful in this position you will be an Australian Citizen in order to obtain the required Baseline Security Clearance. In addition to this you will have your Certificate III in Dental Assisting or nationally recognised equivalent qualification as well as a minimum of 3 years full-time (or part-time equivalent) chair-side dental assisting experience with at least 2 years full-time equivalent within the last 5 years. We expect you will have recently participated in Continuing Professional Development (CPD) activities and hold a current First Aid (HLTAID003) and Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (HLTAID001) certification.
