The Role

Aerison are currently seeking experienced Mechanical Commissioning Technicians for FIFO roles in the Pilbara commencing on the 25th February 2021.

Scope of work will include:

  • Undertake testing, fault finding and repair activities on mechanical components
  • Ensure compliance to relevant safety management systems and company procedures & policies
  • Completion of test procedures
  • Completion of permit to work and other paperwork as required
  • Ideally you will be Rio Tinto inducted, but if not, this training will be provided.

    Skills/ Qualifications:

  • Mechanical Trade Certificate
  • Gas Test Atmosphere training
  • Current Working at Heights (within 2 years)
  • Current Confined Spaces (within 2 years)
  • Construction White Card
  • Valid Drivers Licence
  • The below experience & attributes will be considered as desirable for the role;

  • Minimum two years experience in a similar role
  • Experience working for a contractor on remote mine sites
  • Pro-active & a self-starter
  • Ability to work alone & in a team environment
