Kojonup District High School (DHS) is seeking a flexible, dynamic and innovative Deputy Principal – Primary (ECE) to work collaboratively as part of a senior leadership team.
The Deputy Principal will be a highly motivated and innovative individual who will have extensive primary curriculum knowledge. The successful applicant will have a focus on explicit instruction school-wide pedagogy and continue to improve in consultation with staff a school based scope and sequence. Using effective leadership techniques, you will be required to lead development across all areas of the Curriculum, with a focus on data collection to assist teachers to create highly effective learning programmes that cater for individual needs.
Outstanding time management and organisational skills will be highly regarded along with a desire and willingness to work as part of a team and form robust professional relationships with teachers from a range of subject backgrounds.

Kojonup DHS caters for approximately 250 students, Kindergarten to Year 10, many of whom travel by bus from nearby farming properties. There is a strong focus on literacy, numeracy and pastoral care. The town is well serviced with its own hospital, fire station, ambulance centre and supermarket. There are numerous sporting clubs and active repertory club.
This selection process will initially be used to fill the above vacancy. Applicants assessed as suitable during this selection process may be considered for other similar vacancies that occur throughout our school for up to 12 months following this initial appointment. This includes circumstances where this position becomes subsequently vacant should the successful applicant decline or vacate the advertised position.
