E4 Recruitment are looking for a multidisciplinary team member to provide assessment, treatment, consultancy and education for people under the age of 18 experiencing acute dysfunction associated with mental illness or mental disorder in the Northern Territory.

    • Key Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Provide specialist child and youth mental health assessments and treatment options for people under the age of 18 
  • Undertake clinical interventions for the Child & Youth team as required including carrying a small caseload of clients
  • Deliver culturally appropriate, comprehensive and quality care in a community setting 
  • Assist in Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI) activities and audits 
  • Promote and effectively use interpreters and/or appropriate health professionals to ensure culturally safe care is provided to clients of different cultures. 
    • Selection Criteria
    Essential:
  • Recognised degree in Mental Health Nursing or Social Work
  • Demonstrated range of postgraduate employment experience working with children and youth and their families, including in a community mental health setting
  • Demonstrated expert knowledge of child and youth risk assessments
  • Ability to work autonomously in a team 
  • Demonstrated experience in developing and maintaining collaborative partnerships with relevant agencies
  • Postgrad cert in mental health is desirable 
  • Current, unrestricted AHPRA 
  • Previous remote experience 
  • 2 years post graduate experience 
  • Working With Children's Card (Ochre card), National Police Check and 100pts of ID essential 
  • Drivers license
