At Boral Digital Solutions we are looking to partner with a proven SAP Operations Manager to assist us with one the most significant transformation projects we have embarked on in recent times.
Reporting through to our Project Lead, the key focus areas of this role will be to provide SAP S/4Hana Technical support and guidance in delivering a systems environment and drive the IT execution capabilities around a multi-year program incorporating Core Financials, Master Data Governance, Quote to Cash and other strategic initiatives such as Contractor Management, HCM and Supply Chain.
Day to day you will take ownership of the following; Progressively building SAP operations team and providing leadership and vision in establishing the team. Accountable for transformative design, deployment, and integrated delivery of Boral’s next generation ERP. Support the business in the upfront process design and data work in preparation for SAP and other ERP Applications. Accountable for holding Technical Advisory Board sessions to validate changes moving into production during Project phase. Participate in key decision making on system design aspects of the project. Ensure BAU metrics are established during the course of project for easy transition. Participate in design innovation, customer-centric solutions based on deep knowledge of large-scale SAP & HANA-driven technology. Effectively Communicate with BDS leadership and steering committees. Establish and maintain a world-class landscape of SAP applications and infrastructure to meet operational needs. Leading the Operations Team in the management, prioritisation, and resolution of SAP enhancements and incidents related to SAP environment . Planning, budgeting and forecasting for the SAP Operations Support team. Identifying and ensuring that re-occurring support issues are addressed through the delivery of strategic fixes. Identify and address operational risk within the application domain. Manage customer satisfaction processes, including maintaining relationships with partners and business teams for cost, time and demand. Identify, drive, and implement improvement opportunities and standardised processes in the areas of support and transition of new applications. Acts as escalation point, including after hours, for service-related issues. Manage Business Stakeholders through accurate and timely communication, leading to confidence during times of crisis.
Ideal candidates will demonstrate: Proven track record of leading large scale teams and a minimum of 5 years management experience and overall 10 years of SAP Implementations or Support. Minimum 10 years of experience in SAP ECC and S/4 HANA. Qualifications in SAP and Project Management. Experience of transitioning ERP from Oracle to SAP is highly desired. Working knowledge of integration points between SAP FICO, MM ,SRM, SD,Ariba and MDM combined with integration of SAP PI/CPI and 3rd party applications. Specialization of one of the core modules of SAP FICO or MM-SRM-Ariba. Familiarity with ABAP, Basis,Portal, UI5 and Fiori and Technical stack of SAP Product suite is a must.
