The Opportunity & Team

We have an exciting opening for a Manager - Human Resources tojoin our leadership team at our Tatura site. Tatura Milk Industriesis a wholly owned subsidiary of Bega Cheese Limited, employing over400 people and manufacturing a wide range of dairy productsincluding cream cheese, butter, and milk powders.

The Manager - Human Resources will lead three direct reports,and guide and advise the site management team. Reporting to theGroup Manager - HR Operations, the role will be responsiblefor;

  • Working to deliver the people and culture objectives for thesite and centralised HR function
  • Leading site employee and industrial relations mattersincluding EBA negotiations
  • Coordinating recruitment, training and development andretention activities to ensure a suitably skilled workforce
  • Ensuring the compliance and consistent application of HRpolicies, procedures, and processes
  • Initiating and engaging with the roll out of group HR strategicinitiatives and programs
  • If you are authentic, agile, and comfortable working at timeswith ambiguity, you will thrive in this fast-paced and high energyrole. The successful incumbent will be passionate about people andfostering a positive workplace culture. The individual will be ableto demonstrate experience in all facets of HR including employeerelations, employee engagement, change management, communication,talent management, performance management and successionplanning.

    Additionally, you will have:

  • Tertiary qualification in Human Resources Management or arelated discipline
  • A demonstrated ability to lead a HR Team in a complexenvironment
  • HR management experience within manufacturing or FMCG(desirable)
  • Proven influencing and high level communication skillsincluding the ability to manage competing priorities
  • Ability to develop productive working relationships with adiverse range of stakeholders
