Joining a new digital system implementation, you will be responsible for Project Management and leadership to develop and execute the workstream specific project plan. Develop and maintain effective working relationships with key stakeholders across the organisation and ensure delivery/ integration (with LMS) is taking place. Work with business and technical teams looking at how to best configure the software from your solid grasp of the business requirements.

Key responsibilities:
  • Lead and deliver activities to assure the project solution meets business needs, within agreed timeframes.
  • Develop and execute the workstream specific project plan.
  • Identify potential risks, issues, constraints, interdependencies associated with the project and develop and manage risk strategies.
  • Establish the principles and quality criteria for new business processes and systems changes.
  • Manage and work with external consultants and vendors where appropriate to provide specialist knowledge, capability and components of project delivery.
  • Provide advice and direction to workstream members on assigned project tasks.
  • Proactively update forecasts and schedules, progress monitoring, and reporting to the Program Manager.
  • Ensure that customer perspective is maintained throughout the project.
  • Develop and maintain the day-to-day relationships with stakeholders, the business and technical teams.
    • Key experience required:
  • Solid experience as a Project Manager for large and complex organisations.
  • Proven experience project managing digital/ system/ software implementation project/s.
  • Ability to engage with a wide range of stakeholders across the breadth of the organisation and to manage expectations.
  • Experience managing projects that include significant technology and business process change.
  • Proven experience managing project teams across multiple delivery methodologies - Waterfall, Agile (Scrum & Kanban)
  • Sound interpersonal skills: ability to communicate, collaborate, consult, influence and negotiate with stakeholders and staff at all levels.
  • Proven ability to deliver successful outcomes within a defined timeframe and budget.
  • Proactive approach to task and issue management. Self-motivated with an aptitude to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Experience within the tertiary education sector and/or ePortfolio project experience - is highly desirable.
  • Project management accreditation and/or relevant professional qualifications.
