Overview Provide investment operations support to Link Fund Solutions boutique Fund Managers, covering a range of portfolio administration functions including valuations, corporate actions, cash forecasting, performance reporting, trade settlement management, cash movements, broker and custodian liaison, and relationship management Key Accountabilities and Main Responsibilities
  • Reconciliation of cash records, positions and trades to the custodian / PB
  • Ensuring timely delivery of various reporting requirements to Fund Managers
  • Updating portfolio systems relating to investment trades, settlements, corporate actions, income receipts and cash movements
  • Post trade compliance monitoring
  • Preparation of reconciled month end portfolios for Accountants to complete unit pricing
  • Preparation of periodic reports to Fund Managers, their clients, and asset consultants
  • Build and maintain effective relationships with wholesale and retail clients
  • Liaise with Custodians, Fund Managers and Brokers 
  • Involved in project work to improve service quality such as system implementations / upgrades / testing 
  • Gross Asset Value (GAV) production 
  • Investment types both domestic and international will include the following: Equities, Futures, Options, FX, Currency forwards, Swaps, Fixed Income, and Managed Funds
  • Experience & Personal Attributes
  • At least 1-3 years’ experience in a custody, fund administrator or fund manager environment within a high volume, client focused working environment
  • Tertiary degree in a relevant field e.g. Finance, Accounting, Commerce
  • Good understanding of investment products, markets & securities 
  • Preferred systems knowledge – IRESS, Omgeo, and Excel 
  • Problem solving and implementing practical solutions
  • Ongoing monitoring and improvement of risk and compliance controls
  • Proactively responds and adapts to change; supports and influences strategies to enable business transformation and enhancement 
  • Strong written & verbal communication; expresses ideas effectively in individual and group situations 
  • Good organization skill with the ability to multi-task in a high-pressure environment
  • Client Focus 
  • Attention to detail, ensuring accuracy and efficiency of daily tasks and a high personal standard in all work areas
  • Works with the team and the broader organisation towards shared goals and treats all colleagues and clients as partners
