About the Role

Business Taxes is part of the Taxes and Grants division within Revenue NSW, and is seeking to recruit a motivated Manager in Active Compliance who will be focused on delivering on outcomes. 

This role will be leading and managing a number of payroll tax compliance teams, driving forward customer education and voluntary compliance, and responsible for achieving compliance revenue targets.

As part of the leadership team, you will be driving staff engagement initiatives and the adoption of new technologies and internal collaboration tools. 

The successful candidate should:

  •  Be a passionate professional who uses their initiative to effectively lead a team through a range of transformation initiatives whilst simultaneously ensuring customer compliance with  payroll tax
  • Use innovation, research, technology and data to ensure our customers are compliant with their tax obligations
  • Have demonstrated recent skills and experience to drive the successful management of people and systems and processes
  • Be proficient in the application of legislation, implementation of training and development plans, data analysis, and decision-making in complex compliance activities
  • Have demonstrated advanced interpersonal and communication skills to maintain productive internal and external stakeholder relationships
  • Experience in managing tax administration processes or customer compliance would be an advantage.
