Wood is currently recruiting for a Principal Mechanical Engineer (Static Equipment) to join our team on contract for an upcoming shutdown.
Wood “Operations” delivers brownfields engineering, procurement, construction, optimisation and technical services to the Oil & Gas industry. Wood enjoys long-term partnerships with some of the region’s most prominent Oil & Gas and LNG producers with operations in Western Australia and the Northern Territory.
As a Principal Mechanical Engineer with expertise in Static Equipment, you will be reporting directly to the Regional Piping / Mechanical Lead Engineer and working across FEED / Execution to EPCM delivery.
Taking the lead on some of the world’s most technically challenging brownfields Oil & Gas projects for the Mechanical Engineering group, you will join likeminded, agile industry peers who are highly qualified and recognised industry innovators to create new possibilities...
Skills / Qualifications
Suitably qualified in Mechanical Engineering from a recognised institution, you will have:

You must have full Australian work rights and reside in either Western Australia or the Northern Territory to be considered for this role.
