    u&u have been exclusively retained by a global tier 1 business, who are undergoing monumental growth, category leading within their prospective channels and world renowned quality of products.

    The Person

    Due to internal promotions, this organisation has a requirement for an Innovation Manager to ideate and create new products based on consumer insights. It requires expertise in strategic innovation development as well as strong understanding of brand strategy.

    Duties

  • Support the development and maintenance of the 5 year innovation funnel;
  • Identify market opportunities to further differentiate this organisation from their competitors;
  • Create innovation projects that enable this organisation to be the first to market with leading edge innovative solutions;
  • Implement an ongoing program of ideation and desirability assessment; and
  • Own and manage gate processes to ensure ideas are tested for feasibility.

    • Skills and Experience

  • Business degree in Marketing;
  • 10 years+ of consumer marketing/ innovation development experience;
  • Experience with collaborating closely with R&D/ Sales/ Marketing/ Supply Chain;
  • Blue chip FMCG experience; and
  • Self-starter/ entrepreneurial mindset.
