The Retail Assistant role provides support in raising much needed funds to
enable The Salvation Army (TSA) to serve the needs of the local community, whilst providing an environment where customers and volunteers are treated with the dignity and respect reflected in the values and mission of TSA. Job Tasks Works out the back and on the floor with a focus on stocking items for purchase rather than on direct customer service or sales.Sorting, lifting and processing of donated goodsHanging and pricing of itemsUse personal protective equipment according to all COVID and WHS processesOperate following all WHS procedures to ensure a safe environment for allEnsure TSA values of integrity, compassion, respect, diversity and collaboration are upheld while working at the shop.
