The Allied Health Unit are looking for Advanced Social Workers to join their team in a temporary capacity (one position up to June and one position up to months). Located at Logan Hospital, the successful applicant will assist with integration of the reform agenda inclusive of the Domestic and Family Violence High Risk Team (DFVHRT).

About the Role

  • The Social Worker Advanced, Domestic and Family Violence (D&FV) is a leadership role designed to build the capability of the workforce and clinical services in responding to D &FV across the HHS.
  • The role will support the integration of the reform agenda inclusive of the Domestic and Family Violence High Risk Team (DFVHRT), Training and Education as well as support the leadership in promoting excellence across the Hospital and Health Service (HHS) in D&FV.
  • Lead community and HHS engagement activities inclusive of training, health promotion and clinical education in the area of D&FV that result in enhanced patient and community outcomes for those who are experiencing or at risk of D&FV.
